Energizer must Crowdfund Their Enormously Thicc Phone

[ad_1]

The battery in my roughly two-year phone fucking sucks. This is an honest to goodness miracle, if the phone is not dead about 3 in the afternoon. Theoretically, I exact target market for Energizer P18KDescribed (them) as "the longest lasting smartphone in the world".

This phone promises a lot: 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory, five cameras, and battery life that will allow you to watch two consecutive, days of continuous video playback on a single charge. The disadvantage? Phone is huge.

Another drawback? It does not get funding. For reasons I do not fully understand, and invigorating avenir Telecom I decided to try and crowdfund this by placing the phone on IndieGoGo with a view to a little over $ 1.7 million.

A lofty goal, to be sure, and one they really never met, now finishing today a total of $ 21,268 pledged by promoters.

It is unknown at this stage whether they will try again to resort to more traditional financing model, or click on the drawing board, and perhaps try to find a middle ground between a decent battery life and size of brick the device.
