WINNIPEG – A New Hampshire man who won a trip to Manitoba on "The Price is Right" has refused to make the trip because the taxes are too high.
Or Norton won a six-night stay at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg on December 4 episode of the game show.
The trip also included a visit to Churchill, man. To see the polar bears.
The hotel told CTV Winnipeg, that Norton refused to travel because of the tax, it would have to pay.
Game show contestants promised "winter, they will never forget" with a chance to "look at polar bears in their natural habitat in beautiful Canada."
Norton was seen screaming and smiling at the prospect to win a prize.
