Two NL people died in Highway 104 truck accidents in the Picts

Two men from Newfoundland and Labrador dead after a collision between two pickups on Sunday morning on Highway 104 in the Picts in Nova Scotia.

Accident involving a 2012 Ford F150 and 2005, Chevrolet Silverado happened around 10 am between exits 27 and 29, on Broadway, according to a press release from the Pictou District RCMP.

Police, EHS and Barneys River and District Fire Department responded to the call and found two people in Silverado – a 69-year-old driver from Millertown, N.L., and 61-year-old passenger from Buchans, N.L. – and he died at the scene.

The driver and lone person in the Ford F150, 61-year-old man from Tantallon, N.S., LifeFlight were transported to the hospital with serious & # 39; oznay but not dangerous to life trauma.

Both bands on the highway was closed to traffic for most of Sunday while investigators worked on the site and re-opened in the evening.
