Galaxy J4 Core, the second model with Android Go?

Samsung presented at the end of August Galaxy J2 Core, the first smartphone from the manufacturer with Android Go. In the past few hours, several confirmations have been circulated on the Net on the second model called Galaxy J4 Core. The launch of the device which is immediately proven by the user guide appears on the official website and pages published by Brazilian retailers.

The Galaxy J4 Core has a design that is clearly more pleasing than its predecessor. The aspect ratio is 18,5: 9, therefore the frame thickness has been reduced, even though the known Infinity Display has not been used. This smartphone has one 6 inch screen with HD + resolution (1480 × 720 pixels). Internal components have also been updated. The octa core Snapdragon 430 processor has replaced the quad core Exynos 7520, while flash memory has doubled from 8 to 16 GB.

RAM equipment remains unchanged (1 GB), is considered sufficient to manage the application, thanks to improvements made by Google to the operating system. Of course there is a slot for traditional microSD and wireless modules: 802.11b / g / n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and LTE with dual SIM support. For two cameras (rear and front), 8 and 5 megapixel sensors are selected.

The battery has a capacity of 3,300 mAh and can be charged via a micro USB 2.0 port. As mentioned, the operating system is installed Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition). Samsung has obviously changed the original interface and installed several exclusive applications (hopefully in limited numbers).

The Galaxy J2 Core was valued at around $ 90 at launch in India and Malaysia. The Galaxy J4 Core can cost around $ 150. To confirm, what remains is waiting for official announcements to be made in the coming days.
