Skier Tiril Eckhoff surprised the woman's cross-country pilot into the Beitostølen sprint. He was only beaten by Kristine Stavås Skistad.
Skistad is the fastest through a 1.2 kilometer long line in free technology. The runner recorded a time of 2.44.68 and beat Eckhoff with 42/100 seconds.
