Bundesliga leaders Dortmund must accept a deserved defeat after an angry 4-0 home victory in the second leg at Atletico Madrid. Although BVB initially controlled the match, the home side scored after more than half an hour: Saúl Ñíguez fired from ten yards after a double pass with Filipe Luis, but Manuel Akanji was able to reach the ball but failed to clear (33 minutes).
As a result, Madrid came to another good opportunity, but missed it for a long time, nachzulegen more goals. Only in the 80th minute did Antoine Griezmann reward his team's effort with the second goal. FC Barcelona and Inter Milan have been drawn in Group B in the draw.
